A Curriculum That
Fuels Curiosity and
Ambition

Our curriculum covers eight key learning areas, seven general capabilities, and three cross-curricular priorities.

Each year, we teach and assess:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • History and Social Sciences (HASS)
  • Technologies
  • The Arts
  • Languages
  • Health and Physical Education (HE)

Subjects are assessed against the year-level achievement standards using the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) elaborations as a guide.

Learning from the Past, Shaping the Future

Beyond the national curriculum, cultural traditions are woven into everyday life at Radiant Life College. Elders and Traditional Owners regularly visit to share stories and lead cultural activities, fostering a deep connection to heritage.

Deadly Days

Wednesdays at Radiant Life College are more than just a day out – they’re a journey. It all kicks off with a big, free barbeque breakfast, then it’s time to head out on Country. Students don’t just sit and learn about culture; they live it. From learning language and dancing to discovering bush tucker and the beats of traditional music, they connect with the land, guided by Elders and Traditional Owners every step of the way.

The Goondoi Junior Rangers

The Goondoi Junior Rangers program takes learning beyond the classroom and straight into the heart of Country. Our students learn about bush tucker, traditional medicines, and spiritual practices by experiencing them firsthand. For some, this path even leads to becoming Goondoi Rangers themselves – carrying the knowledge and skills they’ve learned into the future.

Experience Culture,
Connect with Country

Radiant Life College, in partnership with the Goondoi Aboriginal Arts Corporation, has created Camp Goondoi – an immersive experience set on Goondoi Country, part of MaMu Nation. This unique camp, run entirely by Traditional Owners, invites schools and organisations from across Australia and around the globe to come and connect with Indigenous culture in a way like no other. Sitting around the fire, listening to the ancient stories of Elders, visitors are given the chance to experience a deep connection to Country and tradition.

While other camps offer glimpses of Indigenous culture, Camp Goondoi is 100% owned and operated by Traditional Owners, making it a one-of-a-kind, life-changing journey.
